Evangeline Fox is a 17-year-old who believes in true love and happy endings. When she learns that her beloved, Luke, is going to marry her stepsister, she makes a deal with the Prince of Hearts to stop the wedding. The Prince of Hearts, also known as a fate, is an immortal being with magical abilities. In exchange for his help, Evangeline agrees to give him three kisses at his choosing. However, Evangeline soon learns that the Prince of Hearts has plans for her that could lead to either a great happily ever after or a terrible tragedy.
